Welcome to Hotel California! This fabulous ten room, fully functional birdhouse is inspired by the main pavillion of the iconic Del Coronado Hotel. A San Diego landmark, the Del has welcomed Presidents, royalty and Hollywood celebrities for over 100 years. Our dramatic Victorian design with its signature red roof and peek-a-boo dormers is topped off with a cupola proudly flying an American flag. This house comes equipped with a mounting base with a sleeve for setting on top of a standard 4 x 4 base. In order to attract Purple Martins, the recommended location of this house should be a combination of open fields and water. The house should be 12 to 14 feet high. To clean, remove the 5 brass screws from the bottom.
